Procurement Data Analyst
Summary
Greenskies is looking for a Data Analyst to support the Procurement function. This role is responsible for all data maintenance and internal reporting related to Procurement. The successful candidate will thrive in a team setting and will interact with project management, project funding, construction, engineering, and external vendors. The Procurement Analyst reports directly to the Director of Procurement.
Location(s): North Haven, CT (hybrid - 4 days in the office, 1 day remote)
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Utilize ERP/SAP to monitor on-hand inventory as well as material movements to and from projects to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with IT to build standard reporting templates and processes
- Facilitate monthly inventory reviews with multiple 3PL warehouses
- Create ad-hoc reports using data from multiple data sources
- Support the Procurement Buyers or Logistics Specialists with material assignments and movements in SAP
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience in data analytics
- Prior experience in procurement and/or logistics is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent analytics experience preferred
- Must have ERP experience, SAP ERP preferred
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, with experience leveraging macros and pivot tables
- Experience writing complex SQL Queries
- Well organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Experience in business intelligence and data visualization tools such as PowerBI, SAP Business Objects / Crystal Reporting, or Tableau
- Ability to analyze data sets, and extract meaningful insights to inform decision making
- Ability to clearly explain identified trends in data and their implications to non-technical audiences
