Clean Focus originates, develops, finances, constructs, owns, and operates solar projects in the United States. We target large commercial and small-utility projects in the 1-20 MW range. We developed several well-known projects including the largest single-rooftop solar array in North America (4.8 MW in New Jersey), a 22 MW landfill solar project in Massachusetts, and 14.4 MW community solar in Colorado. The PV System Designer will design PV systems, evaluate site conditions and infrastructure where PV systems may be installed, and develop project specifications needed for successful execution. The PV System Designer directly supports the Business Development team and plays a critical role in development of all PV systems proposals.
The Business Development Manager will originate solar development opportunities with commercial, municipal, and educational clients in the Northeastern and Middle Atlantic United States. In addition, the Business Development Manager will support business development and account management activities related to national corporate clients. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Business Development.
This position leads all origination activities in a regional market. Develops and executes on a regional market strategy to identify Commercial and Industrial clients, present projects in a professional setting and deliver financial solutions that develop, and build solar projects. This person will seek channel partners to source, and screen solar project opportunities. Work closely with the underwriting, project development, and project financing teams to both internally develop as well as acquire projects and get them built. Leads deal negotiations, off taker contracts, and front end sales efforts to secure project revenue streams.
This position will be home-based and require frequent local travel to visit with customers and partners, as well as periodic visits to company HQ’s in Sunnyvale, CA and Middletown, CT.
Solar technicians are the technical experts that connect the business to the construction and maintenance of our fleet of solar assets from groundbreaking to decommissioning. They oversee the subcontractors during the construction phase of solar energy sites and maintain the systems throughout their contracted life – usually 15 or 20 years. This “life-cycle technical management” allows Greenskies to build career-long relationships with our Solar Technicians who in turn help the business retain the critical lessons learned over the years. Solar Technicians have a portfolio of projects near their home for which they are responsible, but may also be asked to lead the charge into new markets while the company identifies new local Solar Technicians for a permanent role.
