Greenskies Employees Make a Difference at Peter’s Rock Clean-Up Event for Earth Day

North Haven, CT (April 22, 2024) – Greenskies Clean Focus, a national leader in renewable energy solutions based in North Haven, is proud to announce the success of its recent park clean-up event, "Greenskies Pitch in to Pick Up Peter's Rock!" held in celebration of Earth Day.

On Friday, April 19, 2024, around 20 Greenskies employees gathered at Peter’s Rock, a public-use park, forest, and open space located in the Town of North Haven, just 10 minutes from Greenskies headquarters. The team spent three hours cleaning up approximately five miles of tails, improving the cleanliness, beauty, and safety of the park.

During the clean-up, beer bottles/cans and plastic bags were the most common items found. The team also removed dumped parts from a small recreational craft/boat. In total, the team collected over 10 bags of litter and waste, highlighting the importance of responsible waste disposal.
