Greenskies Clean Energy Named a Top Commercial Solar Developer in Solar Power World’s 2026 Rankings

North Haven-based company ranked No. 2 Commercial Solar Developer in the U.S. and the top in the State

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – July 27, 2026 – Greenskies Clean Energy, a leading national commercial solar developer, owner, and operator headquartered in North Haven, Connecticut, has been recognized on Solar Power World’s 2026 Top Solar Contractors List as the No. 2 Commercial Solar Developer in the U.S. and the top developer based in Connecticut.

The annual Solar Power World Top Solar Contractors List recognizes the country's highest-performing solar companies based on installed capacity, project execution, and market leadership.

The recognition follows a record year for Greenskies, which completed 82 projects totaling approximately 60 MW across five states in 2025. The company’s work included rooftop, ground-mounted, landfill, parking canopy, and community solar projects serving corporate, commercial real estate, public-sector, and utility customers.
