Greenskies Renewable Energy LLC, a Middletown solar energy company, has completed the construction of nine photovoltaic solar arrays on the roofs of nine separate automobile dealerships owned and operated by East Hartford-based Hoffman Auto Group, the two companies have announced.

Speaking at the world’s largest business technology conference, the president, CEO and co-founder of Greenskies Renewable Energy, a Connecticut-based solar energy company, said he believes his company’s sophisticated IT platform is one of the key factors that differentiates it from its competitors.

Greenskies Renewable Energy has completed construction of a 237-kilowatt municipal solar project in Medfield, Mass., the company’s first municipal project in the Bay State.

Greenskies Renewable Energy, a Connecticut-based solar energy company, was the nation’s third-largest installer of commercial and industrial solar energy systems during the fourth quarter of 2015, according to the U.S. PV (photovoltaic) Leaderboard, published quarterly by a Boston-based research and data-tracking firm.
