Michael Ziemke leads Capital Markets at Greenskies Clean Focus, overseeing the company’s investment strategy and managing relationships with capital providers to drive project development and long-term growth. He is responsible for structuring and executing financing transactions, managing project economics, and directing portfolio management and M&A activity.

Michael brings nearly three decades of experience in tax equity and debt financing, with over $30 billion in asset value financed across his career—20 of those years dedicated to renewable energy. His expertise spans utility-scale and distributed generation projects, with a focus on delivering innovative, cost-effective capital solutions.

Before joining Greenskies, Michael served as CFO and Head of Capital Markets at Osiyo, LLC, a utility-scale independent power producer. He previously held Managing Director roles at PNC Bank, SunEdison, and SunPower, leading over $2 billion in tax equity and project financing transactions across C&I and distributed solar portfolios. Earlier in his career, he spent 13 years at Macquarie Bank, where he advised and executed over $20 billion in structured tax equity transactions.

Michael holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah.
