Jean-Paul leads the land and project development team in completing on-site development and environmental studies, project designs, interconnection studies, and permitting for ground-mounted solar projects ranging from 1 MW to 90 MW.

Jean-Paul brings over 10 years of leadership experience in engineering, development, and operations. He has worked in the solar industry since 2008, first at an EPC firm and later two start-up development companies. Previously, Jean-Paul was the Director of Engineering and Development for SunShare, where he developed large portfolios of distributed generation projects in Minnesota and Colorado. Prior to SunShare, Jean-Paul ran engineering and design for Main Street Power. He developed all the design tools and systems as well as managed all project engineering for the company starting with the first project until Main Street Power was purchased by AES. Jean-Paul has also worked on the construction side, installing small scale rooftop and ground-mount PV and wind energy systems.

Jean Paul earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
