Dwaine Reid leads the quality and commissioning division at Greenskies.
His experience spans over 35 years in the electrical industry in both industrial construction and maintenance sectors. He has managed crews and project segments at some of the US’s largest industrial plants including US Steel, Inland Steel, and the BP Oil Refinery (formerly AMOCO). He went on to manage the construction and commissioning of an automated bulk-storage jet fuel facility for UPS at the Rockford Airport in Rockford, Illinois.
Dwaine started and operated a successful electrical contracting business, solely focused on Public Works projects which included commercial solar. After migrating totally to the solar industry in 2010, he led fieldwork in the Eastern US for PV Powered and Advanced Energy. He went on to manage Advanced Energy’s entire O&M department for three years. Most recently, he was vice president and director of operations at two of the largest privately-owned solar O&M providers in the US, each operating more than 1.2 GW of solar installations.
Dwaine earned his Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern University, graduating magna cum laude. He is currently in process of completing a second Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Electrical Power and Energy Systems from Arizona State University.
