HR and Office Manager

Job Description

The HR and Office Manager will lead Human Resources and help us build a top-performing team. The role will help maximize productivity of all employees by providing general office support and maintaining an efficient office environment.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA


  • Promote a positive company culture and keep employees engaged by making the office a welcoming and collaborative place to work
  • Lead HR administration including new-employee orientation, payroll, benefits, performance reviews, and exit formalities
  • Coordinate job openings and drive recruiting
  • Draft job descriptions, leverage all media channels, and screen candidates
  • Develop, implement, and enforce HR and travel policies and procedures
  • Update and maintain company handbook of benefits and policies
  • Investigate, mediate, and resolve personnel grievances, disputes, and concerns
  • Own and optimize all office facilities to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Manage and negotiate with vendors for office maintenance, supplies, food, and beverage
  • Arrange travel for employees and ensure adherence to travel policies
  • Plan and organize company events including off-sites and lunches


  • BA or BS in human resources management, business, or related field
  • 4 years of experience in HR and/or recruiting
  • 2 years of experience in office management
  • Demonstrated recruiting effectiveness
  • Must exhibit high energy “can do” approach in problem solving
  • Strong communication skills. Must enjoy teamwork and supporting others
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
  • Fast and efficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proven ability to effect change and implement processes and systems
  • Must treat deadlines and commitments with the utmost seriousness and urgency
