Financial Asset Analyst

Summary

Greenskies is looking for a strong financial analyst to join its Asset Management team. Candidates will work collaboratively with teammates and others across the organization to model future operation and evaluate current and historical performance of the portfolio, identifying and implementing suggestions for improvements to bottom-line profitability.

A clear focus on data analytics, with a strong attention to detail, is required. Ideal candidates will bring a demonstrated capability to review financial and operational data and draw meaningful conclusions, showing evidence of a willingness to dive into the details. They will need to communicate effectively, including with upper management, on a highly visible area of the company. An ability to drive projects to completion is critical.

Location: North Haven, Connecticut

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver preventive and corrective maintenance reports for investors, financing partners, and O&M clients.
• Monitor and analyze solar portfolio performance, identifying incidents and causes of under-production.
• Coordinate with O&M team to prioritize corrective action.
• Interface with technology team to ensure appropriate weather-adjustment of portfolio performance, using local or satellite insolation as appropriate.
• Report periodically to management on portfolio performance, both operationally and financially.
• Research and identify opportunities for implementing new technologies to improve portfolio-wide performance while reducing operating costs.
• Assist accounting with billing and reimbursement tracking for operational projects.

Qualifications:

• 0-3 Years’ experience in solar or related field
• BA or BS from an accredited university.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Must exhibit high energy with a “can do” approach to problem-solving and not afraid of challenges.
• Strong communication skills. Must enjoy teamwork and supporting others.
• Fast and efficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
